Made from the waste wood from wood manufacturing plants, these logs provide consistent, clean heat with little ash or smoke to pollute the air. They are made from domestic resources and cheaper than fuel oil and create far less less pollution. They're great for campgrounds and outside barbecues too. Let me tell you a few things about this product.
This is not the slow burning paraffin logs they sell outside the supermarket. This is real firewood to heat your home. It burns making little smoke and almost zero creosote. If your stove has a glass door, you'll like that.
Because it burns so easily, you'll find you need to dampen down the fire much more than you would with regular cord wood. You get 30% more BTU's per pound with this stuff than regular wood and even greater amounts of heat due to the low moisture content. No heat is wasted drying out the wood yet to burn. (Ever watch the moisture boil out the end of a log in the fire? That's heat being wasted)
If you tailgate or camp, you can easily load this wood into your rig with minimal effort and no mess.
