Enviromentally Friendly Compressed Sawdust-Low Emmission Firewood for Home Heating and More.

Sold Out for 2009-2010

Made from the waste wood from wood manufacturing plants, these logs provide consistent, clean heat with little ash or smoke to pollute the air. They are made from domestic resources and cheaper than fuel oil and create far less less pollution. They're great for campgrounds and outside barbecues too. You can cook food with them without having to jump away from the sparks and gag on the smoke!

If you own a campground you can sell these logs to your visitors knowing they will have a safe, clean fire that won't smoke everyone out and set the ground on fire with sparks and scattered pieces of smoldering cord wood and they leave very little ash to clean up too.

Use Green Energy From Renewable Forests

  • Made using only heat compression from 100% recycled wood fiber from sawmill residue.
  • No new trees are cut to make these fuel logs

Less Pollution

  • Contains NO BINDING AGENTS such as glue, wax or paraffin.
  • Produces fewer polluting air emissions and lower smoke than cordwood.
  • Designed to enhance manufactures specifications in all EPA approved stoves and fireplaces.

Exceptional Heat

  • Pound for pound, compressed firelogs give more heat than natural firewood
  • High density: up to 8000+ BTU/lb. compared with 6400 BTU/lb. average for cordwood.
  • Extremely low moisture content: Safe burning, extended burn-time, and no sparks.
  • 2,000lbs of Firelogs 4' by 4' by 4' has the recoverable BTU quantity of more than 4,000lbs of quality dry cordwood - approximately a full cord. 4 by 4 by 8

Convenience

  • Minimal cleanup: Less creosote, little ash, and wood stove glass stays cleaner.
  • No splitting, re-stacking, or seasoning.
  • Compact storage and easy handling - starts easily with newspaper or kindling fire.
  • Consistent high quality: No bugs, dirt, fungus, mold, or rotted wood to clean upor burn.

New and Improved

  • Screw press technology creates a contiguous log that will not 'accordian' when burned due to the hole down the middle allowing equal expansion and uniform burning along the length of the log unlike the solid logs or Bio-Bricks.
  • The safe, flat-sided logs do not roll when stacked or burned, and there are 10 logs to a package.
  • Logs are approximately 2.75" in diameter, 12" long, and 2.5 lb.
  • Product of North America
  • Another nice feature:

firewood in hand
Each log is small and light enough for just about any level of strength and hand size. A light weight alternative to heavy bags of pellets for pellet stoves.

  • They're like energy pellets. You can regulate the heat from the stove more precisely than regular cord wood because they're all uniform in size and relatively the same BTU output per log

Let me tell you a few things about this product.

This is not the slow burning paraffin logs they sell outside the supermarket. This is real firewood to heat your home. It burns making little smoke and almost zero creosote. If your stove has a glass door, you'll like that.

You can burn it in any wood stove or fire place but, you'll get your maximum performance and value from it when using it in a quality air tight wood stove.

Because it burns so easily, you'll find you need to dampen down the fire much more than you would with regular cord wood. You get 30% more BTU's per pound with this stuff than regular wood and even greater amounts of heat due to the low moisture content. No heat is wasted drying out the wood yet to burn. (Ever watch the moisture boil out the end of a log in the fire? That's heat being wasted)

If you tailgate or camp, you can easily load this wood into your rig with minimal effort and no mess. Load it right in with the rest of your gear without getting bark, bugs and crap all over everything and, it's ready to burn, as soon as you get there, especially if you buy some of our Fatwood Fire Starter Sticks or Lightening Nuggets.

Each log is about 1 foot long, weighs about 2.5 lbs and easy for people with small hands to manage. Great for camp outs, fire places, BBQ's, condo ski visits and practical heating when bought by the pallet/cord.

Each pallet delivers 30% more heat than regular cord wood and weighs approximately 2,150lbs.

If you like the comfortable heat of burning wood but have always had concerns about air pollution and deforestation, this product is for you. You won't have to clean your chimney all the time either!
